Senegal Chams

CheriT3719 Sep 19, 2004 04:37 PM

A co-worker of my husband gave me a senegal that she didn't want. I am finding it hard to locate a good care sheet on these guys. I have a couple books, but they really don't say much. I really like to know what I'm doing before I get a reptile. Does anyone have any information on these? She thinks it's a male, but I don't know. I do have a male veiled cham, so I do have some experience with chameleons. Any advice or info is much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hey Cheri

Well most senegals are wild caught so id get there fecals tested for parasites. (majority that come into captivity die). Im sorry but I cannot offer much information on these as ive never worked with them. If you posted a pic I might be able to sex him/her for you. They live with C. gracilis and C. dilepis in the wild so maybe there care is similar. Sorry and GL.
