PLease help.. I know this is some type of Crotalus durissus, But what type is it? No scientific name given when I bought him. He was purchased only as a Neotropical Rattlesnake. Is this the correct common name? Thanks for any help.

All the durissus forms are extremely variable in appearance. Even snakes of the same subspecies can look very different from different localities. But if you were told it was from Venezuela it is probably C.d.cumainensis.
It's hard to tell when they are so young. I had the same problem when I got mine. I would say it is a C. d. cuminensis. Hope this helps.
