Does anyone know any visual cues that may reaffirm a 100%hetpie lable. I was told that one possible indication of a hetpie are the two lateral lines on the underbelly near the vent? Any comments or ideas are appreciated.

Apparently a lot of het pieds have the solid dark stripes at the edge of a 3 scale wide white belly in the last third of the snake. However, some for sure hets don't have these marks. There may also be some non-hets with similar marks. Always buy hets from people you trust and then you don’t have to worry about if it is a normal with the marks or a het without. Check out the other site to research a seller you aren't already familiar with.
Here are some 25% chance het pieds I’m growing up based on the marks they inherited from their 50% chance het dads. The biggest one is too far forward in the picture to see the marks.

What exactly am I supposed to be looking at? Their bellies look very similar. I'm always looking to learn more about ball pythons.

Yes, their bellies are all similar. I believe all 3 are het pieds. If you have a normal ball compare it to the pic and notice if yours doesn't have dark marks scattered on the three rows of belly scales. Also notice how the dark marks at the edge of the belly connect to form a line, particularly at on the top one in my pic. The little one is also very nice but her best side is the one rolled up too high to be visible in the picture. The big one is shown too far forward to see the lines but notice that even up front it has the white belly scales all three across.
Thank you for the info. I see it now.
