I have read that fresh pumpkin works as a wormer for tortoises.
has anyone found success using it?
and should the whole thing be offered (cut up) or just the pulp?
thanks
Chris

i've tried it and it didn't get rid of the worms. i fed cut up pieces AND tried grinding up the dried seeds and sprinkling this on their food. i've heard that this will cut down on the number of worms, but not totally eradicate them.
i tried it on my russian tortoises. the pumpkin, like most fruits, made their stool a little runny.
