Massachusetts spots?

I live in Mass, and so far have been finding garters, but that's it! (Except for some redback salamanders.) Does anybody know of spots I can try in the north/eastern part of MA? Many locations are constantly being dug up, built upon, destroyed, etc. but if there are any spots known, I'd be interested in taking a look see.
