desirability?

umop_apisdn Sep 19, 2004 11:44 PM

well, as we all know theres many other genus/species that have morphs and whatnot that are more 'desirable' than others. IMO, all uroplatus are very desirable, but i was wondering if anyone knows if there are any colors/patterns to any particular species of uroplatus that make them more desirable than others?

I really think it depends on the person...I have always loved Mossy's due to the lichen like look they may have in some individuals. It's so real looking..I can't tell the difference between lichen from New Hampshire, and the skin on my female.

However I also love Henks..and Satanics...Just depends..beauty is in the eye of the beholder I think

These colors and patterns seem to be the most desirable for their species.
phantasticus: spots or bloching and/or red/orange coloration.
sikorae: lots of green
henkeli and fimbriatus: white banding
linned leaf tail: stong yellow coloration with verticle bands.
pietschmanni: coloration is basically the same from individual to individual.
guenthri:same as above
