My snake has been hidding for around 5 days or so now. I just assumed that it was because of shedding. Now I'm getting a little nervous cause I havent seen him for about 4-5 days. How long does it take a snake to shed its skin and become active? Thanks

The whole process can take 7-10 days. Usually, once you see the eyes go "blue" or opaque and then clear up, it-s 5-7 days until the actual shed. The snake will often stay hidden this whole time, as they feel vulnerable during this time.
