Herpin on a Sunday afternoon...........

ryan-reptilian Sep 20, 2004 01:16 AM

Today was a pretty good day here in the local foothills. Maybe because the weather was quite a bit more mild than the l;ast few weeks. Anyways, heres what I found.
1 Coastal Patchnose snake
1 dead coastal patchnose
2 baby striped racers
1 adult striped racer (about 48"
1 coachwhip
1 california king
5 Whiptali lizards

I'm especially happy about the Cal. King because it's a hatchling that had a fresh belly full of "lizard delight." (probably its first meal)
I'll post some pics tomorrow.

The Striped Racer was the biggest I've found this year, about 48". The baby Cal King is a beauty.
