Ok, my beardie hasn't pooped in a couple of days, and has got a hard lump lodged in the left hand side of hius abdomen, just below his ribcage. What can I do about it?

I would say that is impaction. What have you been feeding and what kind of substrate are you using? We need to figure out what is causing it.
To hopefully fix it... Try giving a couple drops of mineral oil and nice warm soaks for 5 or 10 minutes at least three times a day.If it doesn't break loose in a day or two I'd make a beeline for the vet. It might not be a bad idea to do that anyway as I don't have a clue how large the lump is or if this will actually work for your beardie. Also, after soaks, massage the lump for a couple minutes. That may help break it up as well.
Let us know what you've been feeding and what substrate your using so we can eliminate the cause so you don't have to deal with this again.

I got home from work today, and found Lujan basking happily, and a giant turd alongside him. PHEW! Lujan was a very lucky!
I'm paranoid about the whole impaction thing, so I have Lujans viv set up with no substrate other than sheets of newspaper (which he does munch on occasionaly). He has large dry tree braches, and some red granite as furnishings. He has a diet of crickets, waxworms, grass hoppers, and vege. All of which is smaller than the distance between his eyes.
This is the beast himself, Lujan
