Feeding FBT

CokeofMan Jun 26, 2003 05:23 PM

I've been thinking of an idea I saw in an article about Red-eyed tree frogs. There was this section of feeding, than there was a guy who had placed a jar in the tank (he probably put it under the substrate) and placed the crickets there (high enough so they could not get out)and then the frogs just climbed down and ate their food. That way he could keep track on how much the frogs are eating and the crickets don't get lost in the tank and the they come out twice as big! Now what I wanna ask is, can you feed FBT this way too?

Only thing is...a jar tall enough that crickets might not be able to get out might mean that the FBT might also have trouble getting out. I don't remember my FBT as particularly good climbers like a tree frog might be. But if you try it, let us know how it works..hey, the benefit is worth the trial.
