Hey everyone,

First of all, I've been reading this board for awhile, and you guys have some beautiful snakes and some informative posts. You sold me on purchasing my very own JCP. Before this, I've only owned corn snakes and kingsnakes, etc. I was very pleased to pick this guy up just recently:

hrmmm, I guess it didn't work that time.

Although there really is no way of proving it other than letting it grow up, I'm fairly certain based on the color that your JCP is really an IJCP, Irian Jaya... Reddish-Brown and grey as babies, they'll turn light orange/rust and tan/grey as adults. Equally as beautiful as many jungles in my opinion.

I cannot the see the snake in the bottom picture enough to tell what it is, it looks as though it's black and white/cream, typical nice jungle baby colors.
