Info needed on albino bloods, will they be available in #'s in 2005?

Damon Sep 20, 2004 07:56 AM

I was wondering what numbers will be like with albino bloods in 2005?

I do not follow the blood python market in ANYWAY. I only have ball pythons and ball pythons are all I really know.

I was considering purchasing a group of albino blood pythons perhaps a 1.4 group.

But I don't see many of them for sale that often. Is the albino blood market fairly new?

Any more info at ALL on albino bloods would be great.

(really getting bored with ball pythons) my heart is really into the big snakes, had burms before for years, but they just get to big to have any real numbers of them.

But bloods seem like they would be just perfect in size.

Most importantly, DO BLOODS FAST LIKE BALL PYTHONS? I mean like randomly stop feeding for months on end?

Thank you.

Hey,
Albino bloods are pretty common now days, and are frequently sold by various sources. The price tag on them, are still very high, but you get what you pay for. There are several T pos', being sold on the classifieds from personal private breeders and probably from middle men alike. The resulting numbers do not amount for a market saturated by albinos, as the price tag keeps them from being a demanding commodity. At some point in the future though, things could be different, but for now, such is the case with albinos.

As for the blood size, I couldn't agree with you more. They are the perfect snake (python), for size and weight. Given their attributes compared to other pythons, they are by far, at least in my book, the quintessential python barr none.
