Where to Buy a Good Scale?

CJBianco Sep 20, 2004 08:49 AM

Hello Everyone,

Now that I've got my three (1.2) lovely new 100% Het Piebalds coming, I'd like to buy a scale to measure/record their growth. Can anyone recommend a good yet inexpensive model? What do you guys use? I'm thinking it should at least measure up to 2500-3000 grams. Correct?

Thanks In Advance,
Chris

I paid $35 shipped for my 6k gram scale! The 6k was $5 more then the 3k gram scale. OR you could go to the store and pay $60

Yeah. I just went ahead and bought one on Ebay for $30. It was a 3000 gram scale. I'm sure that'll be enough, right? I think the brand is Escali, or something like that.

Thanks,
Chris

I have the 3000 gram Escali one in blue. Bought if off ebay 2 years ago and it works great.

Best feature is the "Tare" feature which allows you to zero-out anything on the scale. So, you put a rubbermaid tub on the scale, zero it out and then put snakey in the tub.
