nippy snakes

I have two pueblan milksnake juveniles that I often take with me when I set up a display stand at fairs, flea markets, etc. but (i'm not sure if its one or both of them) they tend to bite. Now this doesn't bother me but when people want to see them I hate handing off a snake that is prone to bite. So far its only bitten me, my boyfriend, and our friends, but having to tell people (if only for my own conscience) before they hold them is disuading people from buying them, even though they are popular for their coloration. any tips or should i just keep mine as breeding stock and hope for better luck with a new pair?
thanks sera

and how often do you handle them? Milksnakes seem to be the best when you can handle them often. I used to try to handle my little pueblan about every other day for a minimum of 5 minutes or so (except for post feeding day) and he calmed down very quickly.

They are about half grown. I'll try handling them more often. Its just hard to handle everything everyday as I'm sure you can imagine if you've seen my list of snakes. lol. Thanks again, sera

to get them pretty calmed down. I assume that you will skip the two post feeding days, but try to handle them for the five minutes on feeding day before you feed them.
