I haven't gotten a picture of it yet, but when my new amel stripe drinks, she puts her whole head in the water - all the way past her neck! Anyone else have a snake that does this? When my others drink, they just put their "lips" in the waater.

I thought he was going to drown himself the first time I saw it, stuck his head all the way into the water. Glad to know he is not the only water challanged snake out there

Yeah, I know I wouldn't want to drink like that - too much water up my nose... I guess it doesn't bother them. Weird little guys - I'll have to get a picture of it at some point.
