hello,

i want to build some racks for my cornsnake breeders and im having trouble finding info. im pretty new at these forums and im having some trouble searching for what im looking for. do any of you have any links to plans for racks that would work for cornsnakes? any other info pertaining to building racks would be appreciated. thanks in advance

I assume you'll be using a typical 28 qt. sweater box for your cornsnakes. I have seen some specimens that might be a bit cramped in such a box but I think most will be fine.

I build my racks upside down as pictured at ARBreptiles.com

But I don't recommend using the boxes as spacers. Instead I cut spacers as pictured on the FineGTPs.com website

Also, if using melamine, I coat the underside of each shelf with rubberized contact paper before assembling the rack.

I also don't use a back with melamine racks but instead use a piece of foil-covered, styrene insulation.
