Please help me decide!!!!!!!

I have been thinking about adding a snake to my collection for quite awhile now. My local pet store has a very pretty albino lavender kingsnake that is a bit snippy. They also have two nice ball pythons. I am interested in them both. I like the color of the kingsnake, but put off by it's attitude. Does it take a long time to settle them down or is this their natural behavior?

I am a fan of the kings for a host of reasons.
1. They stay a managable size.
2. They are not expensive to feed.
3. They require minimal care (minimal not no care)
4. If you're into morphs they have plenty
5. With time and a small amount of handling the king should settle down.
6. Snakes can be very stressed in a pet store with people tapping the glass, walking past, and generally disrupting the routine. Many snakes just settle down when given a consistant non-invasive environment.

I know nothing about Balls and the Ball experts might say that Balls have all of the above traits.
