herping spots in south jersey

anyone know of any good herping spots in south jersey. Especially good spots to view spotted turtles, or any turtles for that matter. thanks

For turtles I don't know any spots in south jersey: but for other, herps the pine barrens are always fun.

For aquatic turtles, you gotta check out the D&R canal. It starts in New Brunswick and ends in Trenton I think? Hundreds of painteds, the occasional RES, and some stinkpots if you're lucky. I was REALLY lucky last year and found an s.oderatus nest as the babies were hatching!

There are also a lot of watersnakes. I've even found "mating balls" right on the path.
