I just got her in a trade with Thomas Davis last week and she is a beauty ! She has a king size noggin' as well with an absolute killer overall head pattern ! According to serpwidgets she is exactly 50"

Very nice Keith. Love your photos with the kings in a natural type setting. He has his head resting right on the leaf. Good shot.

A funny term for the trait but I like the phrase. What is the loacale/s?

50 inches is awesome the MD male has gone off feed again this summer so I don't believe I'll get him to lengthen. He eats like a hog up till August and last year he didn't eat again untill after brumation.

Yeah it does have a big "Georgia Notch" lol. In talking with Thomas he was told it was North Florida locale and its a wildcaught. So its either N Fla or maybe even Georgia who knows. I mainly got her for my "Giant Project" she has a huge head and is decent sized for a female. Thomas said she was around 3' when he get her and he added a foot to her or so. Im sure if she was on a captive diet from birth she would be a monster probaby closer to 5.5' or so. Next year she will be bred to the Monmouth male or maybe a mixed locale male until my 2003 GA male is ready to do the deed without getting eaten. Thomas said she has tried to eat her mate more than once while he tried to breed with her lol. Did you get that female I sent you up to size for 2005 ?

I hope to breed them next year but I figure I can wait if I need to. I have not done a serpwidget shot for a couple of months so she should be larger. She also went off feed in August but has come back strong this month. In early Nov, if she looks plump enough I'll cool her, if I think she's thin I'll try to feed her through the winter. I'm a little concerned with the size difference between the two. He's at least twice her overall size. At rest his head is as wide as her body.

My male NJ is way bigger than my female and they manage just fine. If she is near 40" I say she is good to go. Remember I want babies if you produce !
