Are they set up in a nice deep substrate?(inch or two) I used Carefresh for totall secrecy others have used aspen but with babies that makes me worry about impaction. The Carefresh isn't that big a threat and it holds burrows. Then I would offer live newborn pinks a couple days later, in the enclosure with them right before bed. Lights out, no peeking til morning.

I just have them in little rubbermaids with paper towels right now. I have a hard time finding live pinkies but Ill look around. Thanks.

I would try them in a deep substrate that they can hunker down in. Good luck finding newborns. I would call around and see if any pet stores have any or would call you when they have some. I know where I work will do this for folks.

If it were me, yes I would try forcing a tail every 4 days or so. In the past, my stubborn eaters would always start feeding on pinks once their system was "jump started" with a few tails. This last batch I had a small hypo corn, only 3 oz. and I feared she would never eat. She was so small I started forcing a tail at 4 weeks and after 4 tails (several days-week apart) it took it's first pinky last week.

If you've tried all the tricks (brained, leaving in cup all night, live, if available) at 2 months I would force a tail.
