How do you deal with protecting your monitors when they are outside? Someday I intend to get a monitor and I love the idea of temp housing outside (only in the summer). The idea of more space to exercise, natural sunlight, and fresh air make it appealing.
I live in West Virginia by the woods so I have my share of animal visitors to my yard. My iggie spent the summer outside and did well until he met the raccoon. Well the iggie made it through the ordeal unscathed but the raccoon lost a toe (thats what he gets for climbing the cage). It was quite a site. I hear this awful screaming noise in my backyard and I run out to see what it is and there is this raccoon hanging from the screen. His paw was in my iggies mouth through the screen. After a quick vet check I brought my iggie in for the winter.
