Very interesting...."Bali Retics"

PristinePythons Sep 21, 2004 12:04 AM

This is a link I found while doing research. I've been saying for awhile now that bali's aren't dwarf retics and they attain lengths of 16ft . Well here is the link...tell me this guy isn't telling the truth:

The word "dwarf" is relative, so yeah, it still is a smallish retic, but remember Jamps can get 15ft.

I've seen a 16' Bali retic. It's rare to see them that big though. Most stay under 13'. They aren't as small as the Jampea dwarves, but they still stay small. I have a female produced by 8' and 12' parents.

actually 16ft isn't uncommon. Atleast for c.b.b. individuals. Most wild ones never see that size because they are killed. I had a trio my male being 10 1/2ft 6 yrs old. He came to me with his back bone sticking out. Put it this way he went from about 15lbs to 28lbs in a few weeks. He should of been much larger if fed correctly!
