Air circulation inside dragon's tank

overhaul Sep 21, 2004 08:18 AM

For the longest time I've been wondering... would a dragon benefit from added air circulation inside his tank? My dragon is inside a 75 gallon glass tank with mesh top and 2 large lights sitting on top. Our central a/c does really nothing to move the air since the tank isn't sitting under a vent or anything.

Should something be added (like a mini fan or something) to move circulate the air inside there?

thanks.

I really don't think you need any special air circulation unless it's too warm inside or too humid. A glass tank with screen top probably has more ventilation than some of the vision cages and things others use, which, from the pictures, don't seen to have any ventilation escept for a small vent on the side and ontop. (not sure of the top, never seen a picture of the top of the vision cages, so those who have them, correct me if I am wrong.)

thanks for replying. I really was concerned there for a bit but i'm glad to hear it's not a concern.
