ball or carpet python?

i was planning on getting a ball python for the last couple of months but after i was looking through the october issue of REPTILES magazinem, i starting reading the article on jungle carpet pythons.i noticed that the cage size was virtually the same.besides that, what are the pros/cons. what would you guys recommend? a ball or a jcp?

and she is a great pet. She loves her branches so doesn't hide all the time like I've read ball pythons do. I wanted a snake that was big but not so big I couldn't handle it by myself.
I don't know that much about balls. Just what I've read. THey can be picky eaters at times going long time without eating.
JCP on the other hand can be nippy as babies and some will not eat rats. So trying to feed a 6-8 foot snake several mice can be a chore.
Ball pythons just don't appeal to me with the big body and small heads. JCP are a slender snake but can be nervous with handling. I lucked out with mine I guess becasue she is a great pet. Docile with handling and eats rats. What more could I ask for.

I hope that didn't sound rude, as it wasn't meant to, but you should get whichever species you like the best. There are pros and cons to either species, depending on who you talk to. Me, I like both and have both, so I would suggest getting both.
