Turtle needs a diet!!

Does anyone know how to make a turtlke lose weight? My turtle has skin buldging from his arms and legs and i read that this is not good. So if any one know's how to get a turtle to lose weight please help me!!

Put it on a low-Carb diet. LOL

not really.

Start by feeding it live food such as fly's, tiny crickets, worms and other insects. Also when your feeding your turt try and make it run around for its food. If you dont already try putting a few fish (guppies or something similar) in the aquarium and the turtle will get exercise chasing them around.

thank you for replying! i really appreciate the info. i will try the fish. he already gets frozen crickets and pellets daily. i'm not sure if i could just feed him every other day or every couple of days or if feeding him daily is better?? he is really obese but i don't want to starve him either! again thank you for your info!!
