Snow X Bloodred??

dmac77 Sep 21, 2004 11:25 AM

I was wondering if anyone out there had combined the snow and bloodred morphs? I've been browsing around and looking at some of the more interesting morphs and this seemed like a neat combo to me. If anyone has combined these two traits, could you post some pics? If not, is there any speculation about what the babies might look like?

Thanks.

Dave.

I don't think that the combination would look much different from snow. The amelanistic mutant prevents black pigment from forming, and the anerythristic prevents most of the red/orange/yellow pigment from forming. The blood red pattern mutant might make the residual pattern less obvious than it is in snows, though.

That's what I was wondering... With the effect that the bloodred pattern mutation has on anery B snakes (pewter), I was wondering if a bloodred x snow mixing would make something akin to a blizzard corn. Or, possibly, if the snake would be white with pink flecking like the bloodred x anery A males. I was just kind of curious if someone had tested this combo out or if it was still one on the drawing board, so to speak.

Thanks for the info.

Dave.
