Albino San Diego Gophers

Newearth Sep 21, 2004 06:53 PM

I have just got a pair of Albino San Diego Gophers Barzyck Phase.
I have tried searches but cannot find anything on them. Can anyone tell me what the Barzyck phase is.

but I may be wrong. Maybe what the person who sold them to you meant was they came from that person and are not actually a phase.

I'm sure Jason Nelson would know if one exists.

I havn't looked at his website for a couple year but I'm pretty sure that the are Bechtel line , the same that is in the Snows .
If they where Applegate line , I'm sure that he would list them as that .

thanks jason

Russ and Jason both have it right. As Russ stated, the name comes from the breeder, Brian of BHB Enterprises. I know him, good guy. His albino SD's he refers to as albino purple blotched and as Jason said is the Betchel line. See Jason's ENVY site for good pics. I thought it was the Dyer line but Jason would know best. Brian used to work with Applegate albinos but not sure recently. Just ask him to clarify.

Thank's for all the information. The name must have been corrumted between the USA and the UK.
I will try and take some pictures later on today.

Well I don't know much about gophers and that showed a few weeks ago when I got scammed. So I'll just say that the people on here know what they're talking about. A guy gave me snakes he claimed were a brand new morph and even told me to contact the guy he claimed bred them if i didn't believe him. Well on that good faith I took the snakes and contacted his "friend/dealer" who has never heard of him before in his life and has no record of ever doing business with him. So buyer beware. Sorry for the sour note but be forewarned. Good luck.
