i dont know if my last post went through could not find it so if you seen it before then i am sorry. i wanted to know about how much and what to give to my geckos. i have heard differnt opinions, some say put a dish of calcium in there cage and some say dusting there food. i dust my ckrikets and meal worms. i just want to make sure that my geckos get all the vitamins they need any help would be appriciated.

I think the confusion may be that you're confusing calcium for a vitamin. Calcium is a mineral, not a vitamin.

Vitamins should be used about once a week. Just dust the cricket/worms with them. Calcium should be used acouple or times a week for adults and more often for juvies, babies and breeding females. Dust the food with calcium that contains
Vit D3 and leave a dish of pure calcium in the tank at all times.

thanks for the reply, what i do is keep mealworms in the tank all the time dusted with t-rex L. G. dust and feed them crikets every other day and dust those about twice a week with reptocal (it has d3 in it) so it is not really necessary to dust all the time, like some of the articles i have read (except during breeding season when they need more).

thanks again zach
