Hello,
i bought a Golden Tegu and this is my frist Tegu, (had nile monitor before). I know it is best to use Orchid Bark as a substrate but for right now i am using some Sand from the beach (dried sand from the entrance of beach), will the sand effect him in a harmful way or but gettign soem in his mouth while eating crickets? Please answer A.S.A.P so if its harmful i can take it out fast.
