Could anyone give me good direction to photographing the introduced species: Xenopus?? Its not as if the location needs to remain secret, considering it’s a pest species.

Many parts of San Diego, but especially Tecolote Canyon. Good luck,

I know i marialen bear park there are alot, i use to catch them there all the time, i pulled a huge adult about a year ago. But it's getting harder and harder to find any pools of water left now, the creek is nearly gone.

Well, having caught hundreds of these guys in South Africa, and now living in san diego, i have a bit of insight. They can survive with very little water. they can also move large distances out of water. don't let thier fragile appearance fool you. Guys in south africa use them as abit to catch catfish and cah have them on a hook for hours and still have them alive. The bait stores have them in containers for week, alive.
good luck,
don
