My pacman recently started closing his eyes during the day and at night when the light is on. He rarely opens them during these times unless it's feeding time or I tap on his aquarium. His eyes do look normal when they are open, but almost a little wrinkled when they are closed. I don't know if this is normal because untill recently I had never really seen his eyes shut. This only began a few weeks ago.

His eating habits are still normal... I think (4 crickets every second day). He is about a year and a half old but he hasn't grown very much. I've tried feeeding waxworms ocassionally but they didn't even fatten him up. I also spray his tank once or twice a day.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is this something I should be worried about?

I sure hope this is nothing to worry about. Today he wouldn't even open his eyes during feeding. I eventually covered his tank with a blanket and he eventually opened his eyes. I didn't think they were nocturnal, are they? He is an albino but this is a new behaviour. Could his eyes become more sensitive to light as he gets older?

yes, they are nocturnal, just like almost all frogs( darts are an exception) i may be wrong but i have heard somewhere that albino pac mans can develope vision problems as they get older, but don't quote me on this.

I have heard that as well. I have read somewhere that they don't only develop vision problems but will eventually go blind. I beleive it said almost anything albino be it a person or animal have very light sensitive eyes and eventually lose their sight completely.
