I am working on some research for CSUP and will be doing some field observation during the next month or so. I will be in many counties of so. cal if anybody wants to come along you are welcome or if anybody wants to email some info on certain locations that would be helpful and I will give credit in my conclusions for your insight. Thank you all.

This study will be going on for about 5 years or possibly longer. My professor and I and a few others will begin with the basics, basically for the first year we will be simply be documenting the species/time/location. As of now no specific species is being pin pointed. That will be the "Year 2" work. Although snake species will be the primary target in the future. Tonights Reports. (Riverside Co.)

0.1 G. coeruleus 8:16
3.2 Bufo Boreas 11:06
0.0.1 Tarantula (lol I don't know a thing bout' them)

Unfortunately no snake species was observed, not even a DOR.
Any insight on this would be great.

Out of curiosity, where were you in Riverside Co.? The deserts were pretty hot yesterday, you need to get the temps down under 90 (preferable low 80's to high 70's) before seeing very much nocturnal snake activity. Could also have been the area you were in as well. If you are planning on visiting the San Diego/Impreial Co. areas let me know and I'll give you some good pointers.

I was near lake elsinore. The temps were in the high 70's at those times which were P.M. Email with some tips.
