I've been visiting kingsnake's other forums a lot lately, and I have noticed that they aren't nearly as friendly as the Leopard Gecko forum. Don't get me wrong, most of the posts are very polite and informative, but some of them are also pretty rude. Some of the users respond to new people like they are absolute morons, and I am glad that isn't the case in this forum.
As serious herpers, I think it is important for us to provide a safe place for "newbies" to get informed. That is the only way for us to guarantee health and happiness to the species we love. So if you visit the other forums, and find someone who is being a jerk, post a positive reply to the original message if you can. If someone comes to these forums for help, they obviously care about their critters and that is something we all have in common, regardless of how much we know or how much experience we have.
