Indiana has new law pertaining to box turtles

cornsnakes Sep 22, 2004 01:05 PM

Dont know if any of you have seen this yet or not, however Indiana has a new law as of 9-1-04 no box turtles may be collected in this state and none may be released here that have been pets.
a permit must be applied for to keep any you have now.
if you live in Indiana and have any box turtles I suggest you go to the dnr site and check out these new regs as they are extensive, I have only touched on the very unforgiving and strict new set of rules.
Remember when it was fun?
