You have to hold her still to pull the skin off. Hold her firmly in your hand so that she can't wiggle around, but also let her butt dangle out of your hand so that she won't drop her tail. It's really easy to get it off the toes. Just gently roll it off by using your thumb and index finger. Make sure you keep a little cup of water nearby so you can wet your fingers to moisten the skin before rolling it off.

my method is to dampen the skin with an ear swab. then get a toothpick (since its thin) and gently try to pin down the skin to your hand or a surface, then when the leo walks, its should come right off. sounds weird but its works for me.

Mine gets a dry shed once in a while, So I make sure to give him a nice warm bath up to his belly and then I let him soak for about 5-10 mins. I then take a Q-tip and roll off the skin, He doesnt seem to like it when I do this, But I bet he would like getting a bath better then loosing his toes.

I have a new leo named Mr.Crowley. He lives in a 20 gallon long tank all by himself. Here is a picture of him if you go to the url below...
