I keep both captive born and field collected animals. I collected them myself. The wild caught sometimes are hard to start feeding. Once they start they usually do well. They seem to prefer smaller meals. Weanling mice work best. I feed my adults several each week. They do not like the challenge of taking down an adult animal. I hope to breed them this year. My captive animals eat like crazy and are growing quickly. Hope this helps.
