Thanks to all who replied to my last message. I am very impressed with the Nikon Coolpix 995. It seems that I found it for$299.99, and can only get the Canon A70 for $249.99, but the 995 seems alot better. Tell me if you think $299.99 is a good deal for The Nikon.

I mentioned earlier that I couldn't really say it was a better camera, but I'm pretty sure you can get some accurate reviews and opinions of experienced 'camera people' at http://www.dpreview.com. It's the one site I can always rely on for camera info. Good luck in your decision; I love my 995.
The only con I have with my 995 is the size (which is why I just got the Sony u20). It's a little big, but if you only have one digicam and know how to really use a camera, it's better to have too many features than too little. I'm sure the Canon has lots of the same features as this Nikon.
