I have a baby beared dragon who has seizures either when i pick her up or another time i saw she had 1 when she was eating. She always get over it in like 2-3 minutes. What could cause this? She gets everything she needs and is a very healthy eater. Some1 at the pet store by my house said shemit be playing possum and some say it is either to much or to little vitamins. I need all the help i can get. Im afraid to take her to the vet because she mite die on the way or die at the vets.

Your beardie most likely has metabolic bone disease. Lack of calcium will cause this. OR it could be due to impaction. either way get his to a vet asap!!!

If it is impaction
you can help with a 15 to 20 minute luke warm water
bath.
I agree get it to a vet.

What ever the problem is you will need to investigate your
husbandry for the future. Something is not right
in the care.

So you will need to find out what. Or you will be spending more
time at the vet. Or attending a funeral.

How old is the dragon?

How long have you had the dragon?

Where did the dragon come from?

Substrate & food?

1. You should get it to a Vet. for proper diagnosis & treatment.

2. A soak may be in order like the others said,,, do however keep a close eye on it during the soak. If it has a seizure in the water, it will likely drown.

3. The reason I asked the questions above is, it could also be the nasty virus Andino (sp?). The answers to the questions can not diagnose it but may include the possibility.

Good luck & keep us updated.
