Broken jaws

Lizarddude720 Sep 22, 2004 04:17 PM

Hi

I found a large snapping turtle by my house one evening. Me and my cousent went to catch it to put it in a pound behind my house. The turtle was sitting on a legde above a sewage; let call it a creek; that was held up with metal cages full of rocks. When me and him went back to get it; the turtle was already down in the sewage "ceek". Weh nwe finally caught it we took it up to the pet store by my house to find that it had both of its jaws broken. Now the people thought that we did it and r mad at us. I asked them house could 2 boys break a snaping turtles jaw by touching it with a a twig? So if any1 could help us clear our names please do so and to see how long will it live with the 2 broken jaws.

First of all I dont know why you took it to a pet store? The next question is ....You ever easten snapper soup? If you havent BOY you are missing out! You cant fix broken snapper jaws the best thing to do if it is legal size and nice and plump is to butcher it up and make some soup! Otherwise you will be prolonging its misery.
