New Baby Leopard Gecko

tim5580 Sep 22, 2004 09:30 PM

Hi, my new baby leopard gecko arrived today. Don't know if it is a boy or girl yet. I am so happy. It was out exploring its cage when I checked on it tonight so I turned the light on for it's cage and it's been hiding since. Can they see red light? I thought they couldn't. Anyway, heres a pic, kinda crappy.

Looks great! Nice fat tail. I like the tiles you are using. What size are they? Also what size is your tank if you don't mind me asking'

I have to agree. Your Gecko looks nice and healthy and those tiles are killer. I wish I could find tiles like that around here. Also the pics are far from crappy. Nice setup, I'm sure your gecko will be happy.

The tiles are 6"x6", I bought them at Lowe's for $0.88 each. It is a 20 gallon long aquarium. If you're looking for the tiles, they weren't with the plastic floor tile ones in the books, they were over to the side. I thin they are outdoor tile. The ones in the book were like $8.60 a sq. foot to start and I didn't like the look as much. I can't remember the brand of them, maybe I'll take a look later when the gecko wakes up.
