Kachina * A Goldeny Texas Lady

PHEve Sep 22, 2004 11:02 PM

The pretty Kachina, who roams free with Kong. Shes a lovely Texas Flame, bluish back legs, goldeny colored sides, her heads getting more goldeny as she ages also.

Shes a funny girl, she actually follows behind me in the reptile room as I feed everybody crickets.

I PRETENT to drop one , every few feet, and watch her hunting skills, they are sharp, shes very fast!

They can get very trained as far as ROUTINE goes, shes knows , and is right there every time. I asked my hubby to watch her this weekend. He was amazed, to see alittle lizard make a mad dash across the room to get to me, so she can go cricket hunting LOL

Hehe.. I wish they were. Unfortunately, the only new acquisitions of mine are a pair of neonate C. collairs that I acquired from someone that will never receive any future contributions from me (It's really too bad, because the animals are truly stunning!).

Well, she is the one that produced a few eggs at the beginning of the summer. Perhaps she IS gravid once again; that would be phenomenal, although it is a bit late in the year, don't you think, Eve?

In any case, it is interesting to note that she has maintained that orange coloration all summer.

Greetings,

Fabián
