I'm Back! Anyone remember me?

anson Sep 23, 2004 11:00 AM

I have been super busy at work and hiding from the Hurricanes. We were hit with Francis but not too much damage except for lost power all over the city.
Luckily my power did not even flicker and I had it the whole time so my babies did not have to suffer at all!
I am very thankful for that.
All my chams are doing well.
Salvador is REALLY old looking and acting now. I help him eat, his tail hardly curls, arthritis in both front legs.
hard time catching food. It sucks getting old!
He must be around 6 or 7 but he was WC and came with battle scars so I have no way of knowing for sure other than he has been in the USA for 6 years for sure.

Sorry to hear about salvador! At least he is still getting around. It's hard watching people/animals get old. He's lucky to have you to take care of him!
Orion is looking older. Her colours aren't always as vibrant as they used to be, and she has a few black spots (i think these are age related, i've heard mention by a few people of them before, and so far any research i've done does not show that they are or are caused by). She's only two, but has had a few troubles in life, and she's a female... Hopefully she'll be around for a few more years though.
I'm glad to hear that you weren't affected too badly by the hurricane. When you have so many animals you begin to realize how dependednt on electricity we are!
