Blizzard Question...

Evangelus Sep 23, 2004 06:50 PM

Hey, all.

You know.. I was just curious about something. Well.. I've noticed alot that some Blizzards have pure black eyes.. And others have normal eyes(Silver with black slits). Just curious as to whether there may possibly be "strains" of blizzards? I'm not exactly understanding this.. My blizzard has pure, black eyes, yet I see many others with the normal eyes. Can anyone clear this up? Could there possibly be strains of Blizzard Lizards? Thanks, all.

most leopard geckos in general shift eye pupil ammounts like have u ever looked at your pupil really close in a mirror than slowely backed away it changes size on distance, there pupils work in somewhat similar way, but not for distance more on light, when they have the small line in there pupil it's usually daylight and there not using 100% of there vision, when the room is dark there pupil expands (black eye) and now there using there nocturnal vision which there intended to use when there active I hope that better clarifies what you think it is

Hmm, yes.. That is interesting and it opens up new possiblities, but my has never relaxed her pupil. I've never once seen the silver. That's why I'm curious as to the whole "possible strains" thing. Thanks though, it could be the reason.
