Pomegranates

kg Sep 23, 2004 08:37 PM

Can I feed my tegu pomegranate seeds? I'm sitting in front of the computer eating a pomegranate right now, but it'll probably be all gone by the time someone replies, so just for future reference.

Oh and a bit OT, but is the word 'Match' in my signature highlighted and linked to something? I think I have a virus or something and it's highlighting all these random words. I'm a moron when it comes to computers so I actually don't know what it is.

I do not know about the pomegranite but I can answer the one about Match in your name being highlighted. The answer to that is no it is not. I know what you mean about being computer impared. I am the same way. Good luck to you.

My answer is this: I love pomegranates (alothough a very pricey fruit!).

I think it would be okay for a larger tegu to have some, they have alot of vit C and are yummie.. but they are just little pits with fruit wrapped around them, so only a few, don't want to cause an impatction... and here are some general guidlines.. A red would prolly love them, a blue would probably not like them, a gold would look at you like you were dumb (like mine would), I donno but a B&W A would prolly try it... You know just try a few pieces and see.. Tegus have a VERY veried diet.

Hehe.. I get them for free because a friend of mine has a tree growing near her house. I have a juvie BW, so the next time I have one, I'll offer him some. Just wanted to make sure they're not poisonous or anything.. Thanks.
