Quick question...

Okay, I have 2 het blizzard juveniles of about 2 months old at the moment... They're patterns are starting to emerge... What are the criteria for a leo to be considered Hi-yellow? These two, one is a light softer yellow and her hind legs are unmarked by spots....The 2nd is another female... she's rather orange in comparison and again has no spotting on her hind legs... Its not a bright vivid orange.. its more like a burnt orangish color.. If I had pics I'd post them but I'm waiting for my New Digicam to come...

basically, it seems that people classify anything with a little reduced spotting and brighter yellow on some level as high yellow. the "standards" seem a little low to me though.

I've noticed that somewhat as well... I guess I was just wondering for curiousities sake... I love my hatchlings regardless.. I have 2 perfect blizzards as well.. one is only 11 weeks old and is already 6 inches long... Definately a male... and a gorgeous blizzard.. Still keeping his very light coloring... His Father darkened a bit as he aged.. this one doesn't seem to be.
