It's not hugely important, but I'm evacuating to escape hurricane Jeanne very very soon. But I wanted to know, is Novia gravid!? I can't tell if she's just full of crickets or lumpy with eggs! Reply or e-mail, in case I find a computer on the west coast of FL. shopunke@yahoo.com

Do you have a picture? Are you taking her with you? If you do, just bring a heat pad and some slightly damp sand. Or just forget the head pad and let her rest on the sand for a few days.

I thought Critter was gravid... I could have sworn on, well, everything, that HE was gravid. --- That was before I discovered that he was male. --- But he had the little round bumps in his sides and everything, I guess those must have been his ribs, cause obviously he never laid eggs.

That would have been some kind of scientific breakthrough though, Huh?

I'd be rich and famous and, well, you know how it goes.
