I have a problem, I have a outdoor turtle inclosure. It is 10*10, with a 4*5 shallow pond for my spotteds. The problem is I also have a baby western pond turtle in there. I have not seen him in about a week. I think he has begun hibernating since the nights have been very cool here on the east coast. My problem is is that the shallow pond has only about 8 inches of mud in it. I don't think this is enough for him to hibernate in. Also I don't think he has enough fat storage to hibernate outside this year. I guess my question is will he be all right hibernating in this shallow pond. And should I put a heater in there and at what temp should i try to keep the water
