I suppose If you have any waxies you could put one on a spot right near her and she might see it, Or I think I heard once that if you pop the but of a mealie and spread it around it will make the leos go into feeding "mode" and that might help with the waxie. Other than that, I dont think I can help. Good luck!

I have a new leo named Mr.Crowley. He lives in a 20 gallon long tank all by himself. Here is a picture of him if you go to the url below...

also i've heard of a trick where u can make the house colder and put a lamp, maybe outside the hole, for the gecko to goto when it gets cold-although this isn't the season i figured i would throw that one out.

1. Make sure you close the doors to keep the cats out, plug the cracks under the door with a towel or something so your leo won't leave the room.

2. Place a heatpad or human heatpad on the floor right outside of the hole. Put a couple of her hides on the heatpad. A humid hide will probably be more attractive.

3. Keep the room nice and quiet. Don't stand around and wait for her to come out, because you'll only scare her. She's not going to come out as long as she knows you're out there waiting for her.

4. Check the hides every once in awhile. She will probably be sleeping in one of them.

If she's still gone by tonight, buy a dozen large crickets and seal them up in a CLEAR container. Put them outside of the hole so she'll see them. Remember, the point isn't to feed her the crickets but to use them as a lure. If you are worried about her having to go without food, leave a bowl of mealworms out for her next to the crickets.

we left her under there with her tank on its side so she could walk into it, have food and water, but not get away. we managed to lure her closer with a meal worm today, and then grabbed her.

jasmine is safe and sound!thank for all the info!
