unusual frog

hi all, a friend asked me to post, she found a frog outside her house last week, and wanted to know what he/she was. she said he was a peachy salmon color with black markings on his face. she said he was about the size of her fist and really feisty. i've never heard of or seen anything like this. we live in southwestern pennsylvania. anybody ever heard of a frog like this? (sorry no photo)
