INCUBATING EGGS

Renee524 Sep 24, 2004 03:22 PM

I AM CURRENTLY INCUBATING MY FIRST CLUTCH OF LG EGGS. I AM PRETTY SURE ONE IS NOT FERTILE. IT LOOKS LIKE ITS DEFLATING. THE OTHER ONE STILL HAS ITS SHAPES TO IT AND YOU CAN SORT OF SEE WHAT LOOKS LIKE A VEIN IN THE TOP OF IT WHEN YOU SHINE A LIGHT THROUGH IT. I AM KEEPING THEM AT ABOUT 85 DEGREES. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THIS SOUNDS RIGHT?? ANY ADVISE WOULD BE BE APPRECIATED

Ive heard that even thought one looks infertle, Sometimes they suprise you, So mabey you shouldnt throw that one out (if you were going to) But I think that the egs can deflate if the humidity isnt hight enough, But Im not an experienced breeder. I just collect info about breeding here to there.
